Conference Location

We are having the conference in the Perkins Building, 4436 Kit Carson Drive, which is east southeast of the conference hotels. If you are driving, you can park next to the Perkins Building—that area is not monitored, and all are welcome to park there.

A map of the campus is available, with enlargement options, at http://dualcredit.eku.edu/richmond-campus-map. The Perkins Building is #4 on this map. However, a better way to find it is to put in “Perkins Building, Richmond KY” on maps.google.com, where it is easily locatable.

For those who require a Starbucks latte or cappuccino, there is a Starbucks a short walk from the Quality Inn. Remember that coffee and tea will be served to conference participants in or just outside conference rooms.
 

Transportation before, during, and after the conference

There is an airport shuttle from the Lexington Bluegrass Airport to the conference hotels. Please provide airport information when you register for the conference if you need to be picked up or returned. If you are renting a car at the airport and do not need to be picked up or returned, there is no need to provide airport information. (Should you need to arrive at either the Northern Kentucky-Cincinnati Airport, or the Louisville Airport, we can no longer provide any services from these airports.) Note that the bus service attempts to minimize travel expenses, so you may have to wait a while for other travelers to arrive. Kentucky Foothills is providing shuttle service from hotels to the conference and to all events during the conference. There is no extra fee for this service, which is included in the registration fee.

Conference hotels
The conference hotels are the Best Western, Quality Inn, Comfort Suites and Hampton Inn. All three are located off I-75, exit 87. The Best Western is located on the east side, and the Quality Inn, Hampton Inn, and Comfort Suites are located on the west side, near the Starbucks. These are the only hotels serviced by the shuttles. These hotels are between 1.5-2 miles from the Perkins Building, where the conference is being held.
